Kepler & the Giraffe

While we were in Tucson we visited the Reid Zoo, and Kepler was able to feed the giraffes.  It was awesome he got to do that - even cooler that he LOVED it.  We really do have an animal lover on our hands!

Fun Noises with Kepler

Jeremie can get Kepler to make some super funny noises by moving his bottom lip and jaw.  We were visiting family in Tucson, and I think this is my FAVORITE video of them doing this.  

Eating Yogurt

So my parents came over for dinner and my dad wanted to be the "good guy" of the meal, because I was being "mean" making Kepler eat dinner.  So I let him give Kepler some yogurt - and he LOVED it.  Half way through I figured it was a good moment to capture Kepler's laugh.

Fetch

When Jeremie gets home after working basketball games, he usually has a short amount of time to play with Kepler.  Of course when he plays with Kepler, Joe feels left out so Jeremie plays with both.

When we tell Joe to stay, we stick out our hand like you tell someone to stop.  Well, I think Kepler is almost ready to tell Joe to stay on his own.  And tell Jeremie to stay.

Kepler normally sleeps with his stuffed Grinch.  The last couple of days after/during his naps he feels the need to throw his toys out of bed.  Now I don't know if he thinks they'll come and get me, or if he just likes to see them fly.  He went crawling in the direction of his room and came out with his Grinch.  So we assumed he wanted to play.  I guess he wanted to play like Joe.

Birthday Pictures

I decided to get some one year old pictures taken of Kepler without anyone knowing.  I think they came out fabulous.  He LOVED the balloons, and after he tried eating the cake he decided it would be the time to try to bite the balloon and it popped.  At that point he began crying (it scared us too!) so we decided the photo shoot was over.  Anyway, I LOVE the pictures, so I thought I'd share.

Birthday Party

We celebrated Kepler's birthday on a Saturday so more family could come and share the day with us.  He's getting better at opening presents - still VERY slow, and was a little iffy about the cake.  He apparently the way I was, very dainty when trying to eat the cake - really only caring about the icing.

Because he likes music so much, we decided to get him a little piano so he could play some music instead of a toy making music for him.  I'm pretty sure he liked it.  At least for a few seconds.

Bubble Guppies!

So Kepler's favorite show is Bubble Guppies.  It is actually the only show he likes.  I've tried several others and none work the way Bubble Guppies does.  They've only made about 20 episodes, so they run the same ones over and over again, and of course we record them on the tv.  He can hear them from the other end of the house and come shooting in to the room to watch and "dance".  I can't wait until he can sing along - I'll really like watching that!
